This first release of the brand new Room31 Record Label contains only Artists who played at Hypnotica Openair 06 and 07 in Switzerland.
Room31's Hypnotica covers a large musical spectrum from Darkpsy, FullOn to Progressive, Electro and Minimal.
THE HYPNOTICA ARTISTS:
Supercell Project is co-founder of Room31 and has been producing and playing live-acts for 6 years. His Music explores soulful waves, hard basslines and twisted breaks: powerful sunrise-fullon. He started the Room31 Music Label Project and compiled this first release for Room31.
The Duo Vibracoustic starts dark, fast and „riggling“ into the Hypnotic(a) Trip of this Compilation. These two Guys are high-flyers and have just released their Debut-Album „Dark Skies“ on Shaman Records.
The third track is produced by the „Multi-Creature“ Midimal, remixed by Supercell Project. Midimal, part of Frakasound is one of the most popular rising acts this year and his debut Album will be released soon.
Last year, Mekkanikka played a very powerful, highly creative Live Act at Hypnotica, so he'll not be missed on this Compilation. His 3rd Album "Global Warning" will be released in july 2007 on Nutek Rec.
At Hypnotica 06, Tux-Edo, member of Room31, presented his music containing dreamy tunes and twisted basses for the first time. With great success! That made him go ahead and now here is his first killer-release.
Ibojima, this were the long time buddys Matthias Andersson (DJ Molly Kulator) and Magnus Holte. In 2006 they have released their Debutalbum "Morning Glory" under YSE. Shortly after the first release Matthias decided to work alone on the project and will present during 2007 the 2nd Ibojima album.
Miniskirt & l'etranger is the well known minimal-tek DJ Smar-Tech, also Co-Founder of Room31. He started producing his own music a year ago and surprised with his creativity and top quality production.
Electrocell is the sideproject of Supercell. After years creating psytrance he felt the urge to experiment with other kinds of electronic music. Analog basses, tricky noises and lofi-loops, is his brand, embellished with effects from outer space ...
