World blackout: It's proposed that on February 29, 2008 from 19:55 to
20:00 hrs (Western Europe time), we should switch off all lights and, if
possible, all electrical appliances, as to allow our planet to
'breathe'.
If there is a massive response, the energy savings can be enormous.
It's 5 minutes only to see what happens.
Yes, we'll be 5 minutes in the dark but we can light up a candle and
just
stare at it, while we and the planet get to breathe.
Remember, union is strength and with the power of the Internet we can
achieve something really big.
Pass this on, and if you have friends in other countries send it to them
with a request they provide translation and adapt the timing.
